Well its actually a fresh install (has only like one week) and I haven't even accessed the SD since I installed it, I will download it again, I suppose

even if it is a default build, best to re-install a fresh build just in case something got corrupted.

especially if its a bug like this, where obviously its to do with your build, because if it was a bug and everyone couldnt play as samus, it would be well reported. (probably not even make it to public release, as it's a showstopper)
