Pk Fire Glitch

I was playing a fox on corneria today and stumbled across a glitch I didn't know about. He was in the startup of a firefox relatively close to the ground when I hit him with pkfire. It cancelled his firefox and he fell down into the middle of the ship near where the fin starts on the left side of the stage. I don't know if he would have fallen all the way through or not because he did his firefox again and came back up through the ship.

Anyone know anything about this? I didn't get a chance to try it again because I don't have a gamecube. I just play at school and everyone else wasn't nearly as interested.

He got hit by the pk fire and fell instead of being trapped by it since he fast fell. Are you saying that he went through the ship? If not then that is what usually happens with pk fire, unless the pillar didn't form.

Hmmm, this sound's similar to metwo's drag down and the cape glitches... Never heard about it though.

There are so many glitches of characters falling through Corneria. I thought I new all of them, but not this one.

On a side note, why was the fox firefoxing on the ground?

Haha, you got me. He's not the best player in the world.

But yeah he fell through (into?) the ship. So basically he was at the vertical level of the area to the right of the fin but he was over to the left more in more or less the center of the ship. You could only see his name while he was down there. He then started another firefox while he was in the ship and came back up to the standing area.

Reminds me of the time we accidentally picked Kraid's level, but continued to fight in it anyway. I don't recall if I was using him (though I very well could of been, he's my secondary). Long story short, I fell through the level somehow, no idea how this happened
