Pivot Forward Tilt?

I could be wrong, but in Training Mode today, playing as Sheik against Pit, I attempted to pivot grab.

Instead, the dash cancelled into an up tilt. Can people do further testing to see if I'm right? (It takes a few tries)

EDIT: Oops, I mean f-tilt!

I think you did a perfect pivot (check AT thread) then did an up tilt. You can do anything out of a perfect pivot but it's very hard on 3ds.

That's what I thought at first, but it was definitely more than 1 frame after the input and I can't do it with any other other move.

EDIT: I input a dash, then pivot quickly and hit the grab button. Yet I get some sort of reversal f-tilt.

Oh... ftilt? That's a real thing, look at the AT thread for details. It shouldnt work with Utilt.

Test this out... Press down, and while standing up, grab. what happens? Yes, you will jab instead. What you did was probably something similar, if you tournaround grab, but hold the stick slightly downwards, you'll do tilt instead. probably.
