Personal Achievements

This topic is about things you've done in video games that while maybe no one else cares, you're proud of yourself because you finally did it.

My inspiration for this topic is the game "Fire" on the first Game and Watch Gallery. I finally got over 1000 points on Very Hard mode, which borders on Impossible sometimes. My best score so far has been 1218. Keep in mind, Very Hard mode means Peach does not throw out hearts to take away a Miss, ever.

So, anything you've done that you're proud of and would like to share?

(And please, no comments like "Man, you only got that far? I got twice as far in 30 seconds!" This is things that people are proud of themselves for accomplishing, we don't need your score just for competition.)

*twitch* I killed a Wizard in Ragnarok Online during PvP (Player vs. Player, a big free for all murderfest in a little-used town) once. Then he came back to get revenge and I Cloak-Warp killed him. After that I hunted him until the event ended. This is significant because my class (Assassin) is one of the worst in the game, whereas Wizards are superpowerful.

Well, today I beat Samurai Goroh on Hard mode in GX, but that's not exactly that big of a deal.

Uh, getting to the deep dungeon in Final Fantasy Tactics without using special characters, getting 120 stars in Mario... Yeah, there's quite a few things I'm proud of.

• I got over 1,000,000 points in a single session in Tony Hawk 2 for DC, without cheats! (my personal greatest video game accomplishment)
• Cleared Super Mario World completely for the SNES - all 96 goals.
• Got 101% on Donkey Kong Country (SNES).
• Got 101% on Donkey Kong 64.
• Beat Uniracers completely (all gold medals on all 9 tours) for the SNES.
• Cleared all 190 goals in THPS4 (GCN).
• Beat Final Fantasy III/VI (SNES). It's the only RPG I've ever finished besides Pokémon (unless you count the Zelda games as RPGs).

There are others, but I can't think of them right now.

I have a few extremely impressive melee records, but I guess this isn't the place, huh.

Well anyhoo, in MP 4, in the mini-game booksquirm, I managed to get 38 pages. I'm pretty proud of that.

Uh in Pokemon Crystal I managed to train all 6 of my starting pokemon to level 100, does that count?

45 mil trick points in NBA Street.

That's about it. Although I did score 7 goals in a game of soccer, again, this probably isn't the right place. :/

Beating Halo on legendary was kind of a milestone, but not really.

last summer i got over 2 billion pts in THPS3 with codes.

This isnt my BEST accomplishment, but it was one i could rub in my friends face for years to come. We were playing horse and i had to beat like 30 million. The cheats were always special and perfect balance. I didnt use any bowls or anything, but it took me 19 minutes to do. Thats keeping my thumbs moving as fast as i can doing combos, manuals, blah blah. I now have arthritis.

WEll it was the highest i ever got.....or was it?????

EDIT: Now thats my idea of getting high!

Eh? Assassins r0xxored teh h0us3 while I was playing RO... I mean, insane physical damage in an insanely short period of time, the fact that you should be able to easily interrupt any spell... But, I haven't played in forever. There wasn't PvP yet, at the time, even...

5. Beat every wanted character on Skies of Arcadia Legends
6. Recived all emblems on SA2:B and recived the secret level
7. and I beat Sephiroth on Kingdom Hearts expert mode!! (Beat that chumps!)

• Beat Super Mario Bros. 1. I've only done that once >_<
• Payed off my loan to Nook.
• Beat my friend's 2nd best character with Jigglypuff.
• Did everything possible in Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
• Did everything possible in Pokémon Blue except get all my pokémon to level 100. Only GSed Mew.
• 120 stars on Mario 64
• Got reverse mode on Mario Kart 64
• ALMOST got all the medals in Starfox 64
• Got 1,400MPH on one of F-Zero X's (64) levels. The big oval level.

The best ones I can think of right now:

-100% on Metroid Prime at Hard Mode
-120 Stars on Super Mario 64
-120 Shines on Super Mario Sunshine
-Finished Caesar III
-Finished Super Mario Bros. :The Lost Levels and the Star Courses in Super Mario Bros. DX for GB (Also found all the Yoshi Eggs and Red Coins in challenge)
- Got 148 pokémon in Pokémon Blue (I was missing Kabuto and Kabutops, but my data was erased!)
- Finished Donkey Kong 64 with 101%
- Finished Donkey Kong Country 3 with 101% (I know you can get to 103%)
-Completed all scenarios in Age of Empires and Age of Conquerors/Kings

That's in no particular order though. Hardest one would be finishing Caesar III. 101% on DK64 was also pretty hard, and so was Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.

Not to be mean, but what signifigance is the difficulty? I don't think they changed the difficulty much. BTW, how do you get 100%?

• Completing DKC 2 on 102%
• Completing DKC3 with 103%
• Getting absolutely everything in Super Mario world. All the hidden levels, everything.
• Getting 120 stars on Super Mario 64.
• Finding countless secret areas on Zelda: LttP.
• Actually buying Mario is Missing for the SNES. That's an achivement in itself!

You get 100% by finding every single item. Actually, the difficulty doesn't really affect that, it only changes the stamina of the enemies, and maybe their attack, I'm not sure.

I beat the game Ice Climber. Yes, all 32 mountains. Has anyone here ever done that? Tried? If you have, you'd know its quite an accomplishment. All that (wasted) time adds up.

How did you get Mew? Were you one of the few given Mew by Nintendo?

I got a Mew from Nintendo at an event... But I decided to GS a new Mew after a while, because the one I got had horrible base stats.

Beating MAX300 for the very first in the game, Dance Dance Revolution

Beating my first song on "Heavy" difficulty in DDR.

Beating all the songs on heavy on DDRMAX for PS2.

Beating the song MAX300 on heavy difficulty on DDRMAX2.

Beating the songs Paranoia Survivor and Cartoon Heroes on heavy dificulty on DDRExtreme.

Beating Xenogears. The seoncd rpg in my life that I've had the patience to beat.

I beat WangTang with Kraken in Power Stone 1 in 19 seconds.(Normal difficulty, single stage)

Power Stone 2. It in itself is a gaming milestone.

Beating Emerald weapon in FF7.

Beating Lavos in Chrono trigger with just Chrono and Marle that gives you crazy ending.

Beating Megamans 1-7

Beating Sephiroth with 3 moves.

Beating Rampage on NES even tough the ending was "The End"

- Found all the treasures in The Great Cave Offensive (Kirby Superstar, SNES)
- Hav all gold crowns for every stage in Parappa the Rapper (PS1), UmJammer Lammy (PS1), and Parappa the Rapper 2 (PS2) (no big deal really).
- Beat the Sambone Trio in Gitaroo Man (PS2) (and I got Soda three times during the song. THREE EFFIN' TIMES)!!

Pssh, now I know no one will give a rats arse about the last one (has anyone here even played Gitaroo Man?

• I finally completely maxed out FFT, all propositions, all treasures, all unexplored lands, all special character to level 99, all jobs mastered, learned ultima and zodiac, I have every item
• All dog tags on MGS:2
• Git Big Boss rank in MGS
• Did everything on KH on expert mode
• Beat Battle Toads & Double Dragon with no only 1 continue
• Maxed out OoT, MM, OoS, OoA and Link's Awakening.
• Beat emerald and ruby in 7 in one try
• Beat Ozma
• Beat Omega in 8 with no heros (i used invincible moon)

Yeah I think that's it. Other have done better. Oh yeah got everything on SMW.

100% In Metroid Prime Hard mode (Not too tough, but still an acomplishment.)

101% in Donkey Kong 64
101% in Donkey Kong Country 3 (In five hours nonetheless)
Errhmm.... Beaten all of the DK games countless times...
Can't remember my THPS scores but they weren't bad.
Pulling off a 1440+ degree spin in THPS1 (With cheats of course...)
Beating Emerald Weapon (I could only use NoTR 2 or 3 times and it was all Limit Breaks after that )
Getting to level 5 in Ikaruga (So yeah, it took me tons of continues and I died soon after, but I felt awsome.)
100% in the Banjo-Kazooie games (Even got the eggs and the Key in BK1.)
Having 7000 HP by the second disc in FF8 (Abuse the Draw system!)

Nothing too impressive, but I know I'm forgetting tons of stuff. 10 Years of gaming and I've done so much... Can't remember it all....

-fluent speaker of french and spanish, basic comkuncation in about 7 languages

-have written a book wich became a personifacation of my imagination for reality
-have broken the grip of the 3rd dimension
-Repetitively have captured the awe of those who listen to the tremendous beauty of my words, and then solemnity of my silence.
-i speak and i speak not
-I get whatever i want as long as i think about it and perceive it to be my own
-I understand the idea of the golden rule and how it effects humankinds evolution
-I understand the secret of life
-I've talked to aliens (telepathically)
-My entire reality has been broken down into a matrix where i am the architect

[Weed]

-Each Metal Gear Solid game I beat gives me a sense of gratification (since I play them all on Hard mode w/o radar). Beat 1, 2, and 3 so far, might try to beat the old school ones.

-100% in Wario Land 3, one of my favourite accomplishments.

-Beating Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo Kazooie, Starfox 64, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario (1+2), Banjo Tooie, and Loz: Ooc were all great accomplishments.

-Finishing the fight (the whole fight)

-Posting a friends accomplishment which I thought was godly: Beating Pikmin in 15 game days without losing a single Pikmin..incredible.

-Getting level 60 in World of Warcraft...that took a while..

-Beating the level 5 opponent in Tetris DS (yes!)
