Yoshi's parry doesn't work as intended and I'm surprised no one has noticed this so far.
Yoshi's invulnerability (Not intangibility) at the beginning of his shield does not register as belonging to him
this means that any attack that hits yoshi's parry and still has a hitbox out a couple frames later will hit yoshi again, even if its his normal shield.
this causes parrying to have a extremely unnecessary risk to it
to replicate this is you want to just, go into training mode with yoshi and marth (Or t.link) and slow down time so its easier to parry. (I did test this under normal time btw). try to parry an f-smash. it will hit yoshi's parry and then his shield. if you try and jump oos, yoshi WILL get hit by it
