I won't know what character I am facing until the 2nd round but I am looking forward to either match up.

The battle of fire and thunder! Probably the harder match up of the 2 since Ness can recover off of Din's Fire which removes a lot of Pressure from Zelda's range game. Zelda also has a similar advantage since Nayru's Love can reflect PK Fire and PK Thunder. This will be a match full of mind games. It just so happens that I will be practicing with Fearless Leader as soon as the game comes out so by the time this tournament happens we will probably know each others playstyle fairly well lol.

From what I have seen so far the Miis are really strong overall but I would feel pretty confident in this match up since Zelda can force approaches and punish offstage with her projectiles. Miis are fast and very strong though so I would have to stay on my toes for sure.

I am looking forward to fighting Ness more if I had to choose. The match is full of mind games and straying away from normal methods because they could be used against you. It would be a fun match to play and fun for those watching.

Palutena could be potentially troublesome for sure, since you will have no idea what customs she will be using. I suggest trying to bait her into using the customs while in the match.
