Giga and Company Problems

Ah, I understand now. Unfortunately, I'm still having some issues that prevent this from working. Sorry to barge right back in.

I went to the WIIRD code database and replaced the codes I had with theirs (since mine was simply downloading from other people's code lists) I'm using these codes, but it doesn't work.

I apologize if I look like I'm going overboard, but I'd rather be detailed than vague and unhelpful. I am unable to select Giga Bowser, Warioman, or any 'Zako' models at the moment. Did I do something wrong?

0nce again im not sure if this goes here, but for some reason today when i play brawl+, my texture, stage, and music hacks work, but the char. selection is now like regular brawl, and im pretty sure so is everything else (seems like brawl+ doesn't work) if it matters im using file replacement code 3.2, but everything seems to be in order

Nope, removing CSS doesn't work. I can still select Zero Suit Samus by holding the shield button, but Bowser, Wario, and the Alloy characters are beyond my reach currently.

I'd hate to do this to you, but could you start from the beginning on how to implement alternate characters by holding buttons?

EDIT:

To BleachigoZX, are you using code manager 1.2? If not, get it. If so, open up the text file with code manager 1.2, select the cheats you intend to use, and click the "Export GCT" button at the bottom. (That's the usual way, anyway. Man, I hope i'm right.)

Has anyone created a code that makes the Save Replay screen pop up automatically after every match?

This would prevent a lot of important tournament/crew matches from accidentally not being saved.
i remember a code like that being requested a long time ago, but i believe it still hasn't been made. got lost in all the other projects.
Ah ok.

Would anyone be willing to work on creating a code that does this?

It will become a tournament staple if someone does.

I was the one who proposed this and made a reference to how starcraft works nowdays XD.


Also, if its possible, right now i am running a pal version on a wii, but it will not allow me to load any of my ntcs replays. I would like if possible for someone to find a way to fix this.


Here are the options i know which right now in theory could work:
A) A code which makes the wii bypass the actual region check on the iso.
B) Find the file on the iso which is responsible for loading replays and replace it with an ntsc one which will load only ntsc replays.
C) Find what is the actual difference between the 2 replays in term of coding and create a batch converter(its probably something like a 4 digit tag).
D) Use a code which allows the mimicking of the conversion which the wii does when receiving replays from another region.

I really need someone to help me with this.

is there somewhere that I can get a pack of codes just to set things up. I tried finding masterlinkx's wich i saw in a youtube vid... but I couldn't find it. If anyone has something i could use to get myself started instead of working from nothing up, please post.

I already learned that for the portraits a .tga file in the fighter folder is required, but it seems that something has to be done also with the common5.pac for the portraits to appear at the character select screen.

If someone could help me with that stuff i would really appreciate it :p.

The characters spawn right next to each other, and everything is black. Also, Pokemon trainer wasn't in the background, but actually in the same place that characters were.

is there any code on that allows playing in the "real results screen"? thats what it sounds like your describing. try removing that code and it should be good. if not, i can't help you.

1. try having the pacs of those textures too. if you have the pac as well and it still freezes, then that texture doesn't work

2. you can get custom CSS with a code, but it's a little hard to understand. i haven't even made one i just use Brawl+'s, but i do have the code

I am pretty sure that considering the fact that sending and receiving replays can be done from ntsc to pal and the other way around, that the only diference is a tag as the replays emselves are only a set of commands being player.

Does anyone have a CSS that has ZSS and shiek and the pkmn all separate. I'll take anything extra as long as it works and i don't have to do some weird wait 5 minutes or it freezes the game stuff.

Also, where do i imput this code and how do i do it without manually typing it out.

hey, is there a way to see what codes your .gct file uses. i recently downloaded one and when i played brawl i realized the character screen was different and that the pokemon had their own select screen. so i chose squirtle and i started a fight but when i died. he switched to the next pokemon in line. is their a way i can set it so that when i die i keep squirtle and not switch to the next pokemon in line

We both have Nightly Builds 5.0.

you have to use either the snapshot method, or have the gameconfig.txt file at the root of your sd card

you input the code the same way any other code is. the only way you edit the variables is by typing it out. but some programs, do have ways of editing certain codes.

How do I turn Brawl+ off, but keep Texture Hacks, and what is the easiest way to add Custom Music to the game, once again, minus Brawl+?
download the txt file of brawl+ and erase every code that isn't the file patch/replacement code, then export to .gct. or just make your own .gct with the file patch code in it

Hate to ask this, but can anyone link me to a download of all the original BRSTM's? I dunno where to find any.

hey, is there a way to see what codes your .gct file uses. i recently downloaded one and when i played brawl i realized the character screen was different and that the pokemon had their own select screen. so i chose squirtle and i started a fight but when i died. he switched to the next pokemon in line. is their a way i can set it so that when i die i keep squirtle and not switch to the next pokemon in line
you can't view the codes in the .gct. however, these codes will give you what you want

Whats the problem with Wifi ?

I played Brawl+ a few days ago and my opponent started SD all the time.

We both have Nightly Builds 5.0.

Whats the problem ?
sounds like a desync.l your friend has to have the exact same codes on with the exact same buffer for it to work right.

is there a code so that all of your moves are stale in training mode?
I don't want to go through the hassle of testing stale moves in multiplayer

umm... there is a decay in training code and a stale move ratio changer, but i don't know if they work together.

Code:
stale move ratio[this will make all your moves have the maximum amount of stale
(first 1/2 of line with * may need to be 00000000, if your first move is stupid powerful, then it needs to be 0)

I have Brawl+ on my SD card. If I put BBrawl on the same SD card will cause any problems? If not how can I switch between the two?

no, it won't cause any problems. although you can't play both at the same time.


to switch, just have both in the codes folder on the sd card, have the one you want to play with name RSBE01.gct, and have the other one named something different.

testing grabs so I don't believe I'll need to set the 0 part.

Ugh, get the brstm file,

put it in /private/wii/APP/RSBE/pf/sound/strm, and name it accordingly to the song you want to replace.


you also have to have the file replacement code v3.5.1 in your gct.

and your sd card can't be an SDHC.
