[Nov 15, 2014] Smash 3DS @ Top Deck Games in NJ - HUGE prizes including Wii U console

Come join us at Top Deck Games on Saturday, Novemeber 15th for our Smash Bros 3DS tournament! 1st place wins a Wii U console, just in time for the Smash Bros Wii U release!

WHEN: Saturday, November 15th @ 12:00pm
COST: $25

PRIZES:
1st place - Wii U Console
2nd place - A copy of Smash Bros for the Wii U
3rd place - A Smash Bros character Gamecube controller

RULES:
- Players MUST bring their own 3DS and a copy of Smash Bros 3DS.
- Tournament will use a double elimination bracket.
- Matches will be 1 vs 1 and best 2 out of 3 games. Finals will be best 3 out of 5 games.
- Each game will used timed stock rules (3 stock / 8 minutes).
- Sudden Death is 1 stock / 3 minutes.
- Game 1 of each match will use a double-blind character select (upon request) and a strike method using starter stages.
- Starter stages are Battlefield, Final Destination or Yoshi's Island (all normal)
- Counterpick stages are Prism Tower, Arena Ferox or Omega version (Final Destination version) of any stage.
- The winner of each game can choose to ban a stage if they haven't already this match (If Final Destination is banned, all Omega stages are banned). The loser then chooses the stage from among the Starter and Counterpick Stages. The winner then chooses their character. Finally, the loser chooses their character.
- All characters are legal. Custom moves are also legal but all equipment is banned. All items will be turned off.
- Quitting the game is an automatic match loss.
- Pausing and stalling are both banned.
- No coaching during matches.
- Any stage, character option, item etc may be used if both players agree.

Player Conduct Rules

- We're a family oriented store. Profanity will not be tolerated and will result in a warning and then a disqualification from the tournament and ejection from the store.
- Intentional forfeiting, match fixing, splitting, and any other forms of bracket manipulation is not allowed. Players in violation will be disqualified.
- Disrupting an opponent physically or intending to disrupt their play (through something such as screaming in a player's ear) will result in a warning. Repeated action may result in disqualification from the tournament and possibly ejection from the store.
