Smash Journeyman
Events2Compete and River Wednesdays at Mad Riverhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1454655838135311/ bring you a weekly Smash Bros league on Wednesdays in November at 8:00 pm for Brawl, Project M, 64, and Smash 3DS. The league begins on Wednesday, November 5th. Players will be there on October 29th to play for fun and meet others. All ages can compete as long but players under 21 have to leave by 11 PM. All tournaments will be double elimination and will be played on CRT tv's except for Smash 3DS. Entry fee is $5 which goes to prizes and there is a $3 venue fee for each tournament you sign up for. The top 8 players from each game after the 4 weeks are done will play in the top 8 tournament to determine the overall winner. The top 8 tournament will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd. To qualify for the top 8 you have to attend at least 3 weeks. If 8 players don't qualify for a game due to low turnout, players that attended two weeks only will qualify.

Payout:
(75% of entry fees will be paid out every week, and the remaining 25% will go be payed out in the top 8 tournament)

Smash 4 Rules:
-2 stock
-5 minute timer
- Stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Yoshi's Island
(No other stages are allowed unless agreed upon by both players)
-Each player starts off by striking a stage
-Loser chooses stage, winner chooses character, loser chooses character in that order
-Custom moves are not allowed
-Equipment is banned
-All characters are legal except for mii fighters
-No items
-In the case of sudden death, the player with more stock or lower percentage if the stock is equal wins. Playing out sudden death will not matter.
-Best of 3 for all sets, except for Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals which are best of 5.
-The game will continue to play in the event of lag provided that the game continues. Players may agree to restart a game if it is early enough in the match.
-If any issue arises during your match, do not wait until afterwards to inform a TO. Pause your match and let us know right away. If you play your match and then ask for clarification or inform us that the rules were not followed, we will not allow you to replay your matches. The winner will stay the same. You must know and understand the rules if you are competing.
