It was a shame that 64 stages were not on brawl (Thank Project M for returning some stages). They could of bring at least 1 like some old throwback to the classic smash. But I didn't really expect them in smash 4 anyway so I can't say I have a problem with it.

I'd be happy with any returning stage that wasn't in Brawl. Which we don't seem to be getting.

I am mourning the loss of Hyrule Castle since Melee...

Luckily, brawl's stage editor allowed me to make one myself.

I did like the N64 Kongo Jungle appearance in Melee, but I'm not massively bummed it didn't make it further than that. It might be because I actually don't mind Jungle Japes (and would actually really like it if it wasn't for the stupidly fast water).

Saffron City would've been awesome too but once a map gets cut from the one game I lose all expectation it'll be there the one after, so I had no expectation it would be in this game.

I'm not disappointed at all because the N64 stages weren't really that interesting, not even Hyrule Castle nor Saffron City.

I must be the only person in the universe who liked Peach's Castle 64. Being able to attack from below and smacking people onto those randomly floating ridges was quality entertainment for me.

I would of really liked to see Peaches Castle return, even if it does look a little... odd.

Peach's Castle, you are truly missed.
Hyrule Castle would be pretty feels as well, but Peach's castle is actually dynamic.

Melee stages are better

Smash 64 was boring, but awesome (new) at that time. Nothing to miss, IMHO. Played that game more than enough, no need for a nostalgia bandwagon

Why doesn't Corneria and brinstar count? They both debuted in the original, so they should count. But I would pick the hyrule castle stage.
