Actually there is one small thing I wanna point out that Shoveel Knight render looks the same by trophies and normal render. Even in HD and all that jazz but it just looks off to me.

The SK model looks pretty bogus and there's a typo in the description. The period should be on the outside of the parentheses since they break up a sentence.

Okay, so I'm a journalism major. I know English grammar and AP style like the back of my hand.


And I also know that if it's real, I'm pissed off. Not due to Shovel Knight, but due to the very blatant and amateurish error in the trophy description.


The period goes outside the parentheses in a sentence where only part of it is parenthetical (The whole "(and hunting for treasure, too.)" thing]. Like I did there.


It should be "(and hunting for treasure, too)."

I'm calling fake because I refuse to believe something that amateurish got through QA.

Whoever did this, I actually want to complement them for putting in effort, even if it doesn't have me convinced. This feels like such a weird thing to do, but like Captain Fun said, this is far more entertaining than reading some garbage, poorly formatted 4chan post where someone claims to be a salty Namco employee.

Yeah the trophy description and the fact that the model not only is way too ugly to be in Smash but resembles a fan render someone made kills it for me.

1. Compare trophy models with the fake Young Link. A little known fact is that trophy proportions are slightly different per trophy. If it's exactly the same as Ryu's EX trophy, it hurts the leak. (edit: the trophy base, with the Smash logo)

2. For the stage select screen see if the cursor is in the same place in the Mario Maker video.

3. Someone check the fonts.

I can't check number 1 rn but for 2 I can say that they aren't the same.

For number 3...

The difference is pretty blatant.

I would say that it's not the pose from the Shovel Knight amiibo, but that's an invalid comparison considering we can have several amiibo of the same character in different poses.

I wouldn't worry about it honestly, we'll find out soon enough if it's real or not. To many inconsistencies though currently, and only showing menus is VERY suspicious.

I'm not convinced. Not until gameplay is shown. Also I heavily doubt that Runbow would be the stage for Shovel Knight. I know the Mario Maker stage confirmed that recent games can get stages, but even so, I believe that if Shovel Knight has a stage to go with him, it will be something from Shovel Knight.

Honestly, when you can find the very same image/pose on page 1 by just typing in ''Val Runbow" and ''Hue Runbow" and it's already a transparent png ripe for faking and they didn't show the full image of those trophies?
