Newbie looking to practice with people in NorCal

I played a lot of smash64 immediately after release and I mained pikachu plus did fairly well because I pick up on games relatively quick. On the other hand, I've never played melee but I have seen countless streams that just make me want to buy a gamecube+melee.

Therefore, I'm looking for other players around my area that would be willing to practice/play some(and perhaps show me some techniques).

I live in the East Bay Area(near Vallejo), Northern California.

You can join the Official Norcal Melee and North Bay Melee facebook groups. Vallejo players tend to play with the North Bay people most often.
