Was at the press event in question. Embargo lifts on the 12th at 2 (same time the game launches in Japan). Can't say much if anything, but nothing really to be extra excited about, if I'm being honest. Sorry I have to be so vague :ohwell:

That's a good point. Even if the stores themselves don't do a midnight release, it will still be available on the Japanese eShop starting at midnight. It's impossible for it to be 2 am or pm anywhere in America at that time.
