Netplay doesn't work and it makes no sense

I'll get to the point immediately

I can play this game over netplay over VPNs (virtual private networks, a la tunngle, hamachi et cetera) but it doesn't work when I'm not using VPNs.

so I followed some other thread here where this guy opened up his ports 50010 UDP and 2626 TCP, I did exactly that.






yey now it should work right? nope


I allowed dolphin through firewall...even disabled fire wall... I tried hosting... I tried joining.. I tried switching forced port to 50010 though even im not sure what that IP had to be opened up for...

I allowed UPnP too

but it still won't work


what am I doing wrong :(

He's referring to Netplay which is through the pc Dolphin emulator. It's completely independent from Nintendo wifi or in game wifi.

Wish I could be of help but I don't know much about Internet issues sorry.
