Need help replacing textures in PM 3.6 on dolphin (netplay safe)

I would like to replace textures in Project M that are netplay safe but I cant find any places where textures are found. The second problem I have is that when I did find one texture I put it into the textures folder enabled everything in dolphin and it didnt load.

If someone could explain this to me or link a tutorial it would be great!
