I can see your point. Ice Climbers are the only veterans left I honestly don't see being a secret character. Meta Knight and Wario could easily be locked but Popo and Nana? Not so sure about that.

Oh wow, it's true!

I always loved Lopunny (though I was super surprised when my cute lil Buneary evolved into...uhh...anyway) but its stats were always kinda lackluster! Wow awesome, I'm ganna get to use Lopunny competitively! <3 She looks awesome! Gatta start thinking of nicknames... but hey, she's not a Hoenn Pokemon...? Newer pokemon infused in the hoenn adventure confirmed? AWESOME!

Wobbuffet is not terrible. It's niche, but definitely useful if used properly.
