Metaknight freezes the game PM 3.5

It's been awhile now since this has happening, I select random for the cpu's and I start the match, only to find out that sometimes it'll freeze without showing who the character is. After realizing it was meta knight by playing classic mode and it freezes with him, I tried to replace his costumes with the brawl default ones and whatnot, but it still freezes. I have not put in any texture mods or moveset mods, all of it is project m 3.5 default. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks in advance!

Reinstall PM.
You broke something modding.

Ok I can confirm that something I have installed is breaking it, but I don't have any mods for meta knight installed, so I'm not sure what it is

restore to previous working backup. then add your mods one at a time till you find which breaks it.
