Melee stops project m?

So i borrowed melee from a friend and he warned me that his project m didnt work after he put melee in his wii. he told me he used homebrew instead of nonhomebrew project m so he told me not to worry.


after playing melee on my wii, project m has refused to launch every time i open stage builder! it gets to the project M home screen and when i click play it immediately goes back to the wii menu. does anyone know of a away to fix this?

Idk if this'll solve it, but have you tried taking out the GC Memory cards and retrying?
