This May, Chelticon 2015 is bringing you the most gaming action you can ask for in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
LOCATION:
Cheltenham High School, 500 Rices Mill Rd, Wyncote, PA 19095
40-45 minutes from Philadelphia Internation Airport, Walking distance of Arcadia University, 5 minute drive from the Keswick Theater
EVENTS:
Smash 4 Singles
Project M Singles
Melee Singles
+13 non-smash games
Possible Stream or local recording
Anime Panels
Cosplay contests
DJ Cutman
Nerf Wars
Vendor Alley
5 Bracket Entry Limit
ADMISSION/PRICING AND PRIZES:
$7 venue, +5 per game.
For each console + game you bring, you get free venue, and for every one after the first, a free bracket. Must be able to stay entire day. Bringing a TV (CRT or otherwise) or Gamecube Adapter for Smash 4 also constitutes for a discount. Please show up as early as possible to register for a discount, which will be payed back at the end of the day.
Payouts vary by game.
50% of all proceeds go to CHOP and ablegamers.com
SCHEDULE:
Times subject to change
8am - Doors open for setup and volunteers/staff
9am - Early admission starts, vendors arrive
10am - Doors open for general public
10:30am - Cutoff for admission
11am - Game tournaments start
Times for each game being decided and will be updated.
6pm - scheduled end time
FOOD:
Food and other goods will be on sale at the venue, as well as nearby restaurants in Glenside, Keswick, and Willow Grove
