Melee and Smash 4

Passion garnered a decent turnout and many expressed how fun it was and wanted to know, when is the next one? Well, Passion for Smashin is now a monthly! This month is jammed packed with great tournaments so in attempts to not interfere with those tourneys, we will be having Passion on May16th. (Disregard the date on the picture until I get around to fixing it.)​

Costs​

Venue Fee= $3
This will be waived if you bring a full setup for either game.
Melee Singles= $5
Smash 4 Singles= $5
Melee Doubles= $10 a team
Do people want Smash 4 doubles?
A full Melee setup is a CRT TV and a gamecube or wii with Super Smash Bros Melee and a memory card that has all character unlocked and all legal stages unlocked. USB loading is fine as long as the iso is unedited, so no costume costumes or 20XX.
A full Smash 4 setup is a Wii U, Smash 4

Venue​

The Bradford Public Library has been our venue for our weeklies for months now and we have never had any issues. We have had 60-70 people in the room we rent for the event and been fine. IMPORTANT, the library closes at 5 PM, but we can stay at the venue as long as we want/need. This means the doors are locked after 5 PM, so you will have to knock to get in. There is a Country Fair very close to the venue, and a few food places within 2 minutes of the venue.

Schedule​

10 AM - Venue Opens and Sign Ups for both events start.
12 PM - Sign Ups End for both Events and Seeding/Bracket Creation starts.
12:30 PM - Melee Doubles and Smash 4 Singles Start
2:30 PM - Melee singles start
9 PM - End

Rules​

Melee

• Game Settings: 4 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit
• Items are disabled.
• Stalling with moves such as Jigglypuff's Rising Pound or Peach's Wall Bomber is banned
• Glitches such as Ice Climbers’s Freeze Glitch and Mewtwo’s Soul Stunner are banned.
• Pause option is disabled in the game menu. If left on, accidental pausing mid match forfeits a stock.
• You may not choose any stage you have won on during a set, unless agreed by both players.
• A tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage. If percentage is tied, the match is fully replayed.
• Playing as Master Hand is banned
• Wobbling is Legal, wobbling past %250 is considered stalling
