Smash Cadet
Our fourth event! We have learned from our last events and decided to make some changes. Most importantly, we are going to be at a new venue (Brackett 100). Still on campus, but it should allow for a bit more space and way more outlets.
Schedule:
9:00am - Doors open, registration begins
10:00am - Melee doubles begin
10:30am - Smash 4 doubles begin
12:00pm - Melee singles begin
2:00pm - Smash 4 singles begin
3:00pm - PM doubles begin
5:00pm - PM singles begin
To help speed things up, we plan to run Smash4 concurrently with melee/PM.
-Singles events cost $5 to enter
-Doubles costs $10 ($5 from each participant).
-Also, there will be a one time venue fee of $5 for anyone entering any of the tournaments. You do not have to pay this multiple times if you enter multiple events. Everyone will have to pay this fee, but if you bring a full setup (TV + WiiU/Wii/GameCube + Smash 4/PM/Melee) you will have your $5 refunded at the end of that specific event. This is to help prevent the tournament lasting much longer than it needs to because some people lose their events early and immediately take back their setups. It is okay if you need to leave, but the point of the $5 discount is to keep your setup for the duration of the event it is needed for.
All tournaments are best 2 out of 3 and double elimination. Finals are best 3 out of 5.
