~MANIC'S SIGNATURE ICON & SM4SH CAMPAIGN CARD SHOP~
Introduction~
Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce myself. The name's Manic Rykker, and I dabble in a bit of photoshop magic..
A year ago, before I joined Smashboards, I experimented with Paint.NET. Months back I used it to create Minecraft skins. I was just hooked on providing people with useful and fun stuff to use. One day however, the laptop I used to work with them on broke down on me... For a long time I have been unable to work on anything, as the backup I use has an OS that doesn't support Paint.net.. :/
Despite that, I recently started experimenting with Gimp. Though it has been a very long time since I have made a minecraft skin, I have still ALWAYS had an itch to provide something useful. Thats when I started practicing making Smash stock icons. I thought of the idea when I was browsing through Smashboard's own character stock icons. That was when I had the idea to pump my creative itch into work for this community. With the rise of the Sm4sh ballot, I would be glad to provide people with custom icons to use in their campaigns! I need all the practice I can get, as I am still learning the ropes with the new program! ^_^
Before I continue, I will specify that my icons are free to use. If you want to drop them in threads to represent characters during your posts, go right ahead! You may use them for your signatures, in your posts, or whatever you need them for!
Icon Rules~
Now I'll go ahead and explain how this little shop will work. I plan on working on icons for a few characters myself, but I am willing to take requests! If you would like a stock icon made for a character, send it my way! The rules are in the following spoiler box:

Campaign Cards~
Previously on its own thread, this section will be dedicated to the campaign cards I create. Their purpose is primarily for support campaigns on these forums. You all can use them for whatever you need! :D You can place em in your signatures, and parade your love for and desire for <insert Videgame character in smash here> to be in Smash bros! I will take requests for this section just as I do for the icons. I should note the rules and some other things for this section will work a bit differently than that of the icons.. please review the spoiler box below:

The Cards~
You will find the cards I currently have created in the box below. If you would like a card made for your character, drop the suggestion down in the comments. I will try to work on as many as I can. If you make a request, check back later. It takes time to produce these cards! ^_^

Other tidbits~
-As you might notice... the selection is a bit small.. "for now". Those icons you see up there are all the shop has... "for now". I plan on adding many more in the future!
-If you have any critics on ways I could improve, give me a shout in my profile. I'm always online most of the time! ^_^
-As time goes on, and as I get more practice, I may revisit old icons I have made, and touch them up a bit.
-As one last bit, I hope you all enjoy the icons. I really want to start creating something useful for people to use again.... and who better to create for, than the Smash community ^_^

This section will be where I provide updates. Check back here frequently to see news on stuff I am working on. A spoiler changelog will be created and latest icons as well!
UPDATE 4/25/2014: I have decided to house assets I create in their own seperate spoiler boxes. It will prevent the OP from expanding in too large of a size, plus it will be more convenient for you all. I will be in the process of putting other things in their own spoiler boxes too, to help with size as well!
Its also worth noting that the Campaign cards from the seperate thread I have made have been moved to this thread instead, for your convenience. The other thread will be removed by a moderator at some point. Anyways, check the section up about for the Cards for more details on how that stuff works

2. I only take requests for characters that have NOT been in any Super Smash bros. Title. (Though I could make exceptions for alternate forms of certain characters... "maybe")
3. It must be a Video game character.
4. The render/image of the character must not have any obstructions. If the character is blocked by another character, or is blocked by scenery, I can't make an icon out of it. (If parts of the head are blocked, it wouldn't come out right)
5. It would help if the render is of a decent size. Large images convert well into icons, as the large size makes the resulting icon look more clear, and less pixelated.

1. The character MUST have an existing campaign/support thread on this site. These cards take a bit of time to make, and I won't be using up time for characters that aren't present. For the threads that do exist, I will have some criteria that needs to be met:
-The thread has to have a following, and needs to have existed for at least a few days to a week. I can't just up and make a card for a thread fresh to the forums.
-The thread MUST be active. Locked threads with no further replies will not count. If the thread is reopened in the future, or if a new one is created, then later on I can produce a card.
2. The Character must be a video game character.. I will not make cards for joke fighters (ex. Shrek..)
3. The card will represent the character as a whole. I will not be producing clone cards just for a variation of the same character. (If a better render for the character is presented however, I will gladly make a new card that uses the render to replace the old one.)
Before I move down to the list of cards currently produced, I would like to go over a few things..

Here is an example of one of the cards. Notice the "Vote Midna" on that line in the image. In future cards, I will take suggestions for what you want the top part of the card to say. For example, it can be a Slogan, or it could be the support thread's Hashtag. (Like the K. Rool thread's "#Krocthevote" for example.)
As to the franchise symbol.. I will only be adding one of these if there is a source I can work from. Characters that lack a symbol, or have a symbol that would come out looking ugly/would take away from the card will not have a symbol. (For example, I tried to tweak a symbol for the character Shantae. It ended up being horribly blurred, and just didn't look right..)
Everything else you see is set in stone, and will not have tweaks (Save for the colored portion behind the Midna text. That bit's color depends on the character)
