Well, with Brawl's new multiplayer features, I find it easier to make matches that feel more like Event Matches.
Here's how it works:
Name of Event
Characters Involved
Character You Will Play As(Either Choose or a specific character)
Stage
Description
Objective
Song(Optional)
Here's an example;
Four Sword Brawl
Toon Link x4
Character: Green Toon Link
Pirate Ship
4 minutes? 4 Links? Who will come out on top?
Objective: Winw ith the most points in 4 minutes!
To set difficulty, this is how it works;
Easy - Level 3
Normal - Level 6
Hard - Level 9
This applies to enemies. Allies have it in reverse.
Easy - Level 9
Normal - Level 6
Hard - Level 3
Now you may be wondering: "What's the point?"
Well, there is no point, other than something to do and have fun with. Same can be said for the Co-Op Events.

Characters: Mario; Bowser
Character: Mario
Stage: Final Destination
Description: You finally make it to end... but it was quite a hassle to get here in the first place.
Objective: Defeat Bowser with a 30% damage handicap!
Song: -Choose-
2.) The Two Falcons
Characters: Captain Falcon x2(The Opponent Falcon wears the Blood Falcon costume)
Character: Captain Falcon
Stage: Port Town Aero Dive
Description: Blood Falcon is a clone of the original Captain. Can he surpass the original?
Objective: Defeat Blood Falcon in a 2 Stock Match!
Song: -Fire Field-
3.) Space Raid
Characters: Olimar; Captain Falcon; Falco; ROB
Character: Olimar or Captain Falcon(They are on a team against Falco & ROB)
Stage: Lylat Cruise
Description: Invaders from space are trying to intercept you! Fend them off until the ship reaches its destination!
Objective: Have the most points at the end of 3 minutes.
Song: -Area 6 Ver. 2-
4.) Fire Emblem Pride 2
Characters: ?; Marth; Ike
Character: -Choose-
Stage: Castle Siege
Description: Marth returns to defend his pride alongside newcomer Ike!
Objective: Defeat both Marth and Ike in a 2 stock match. They are NOT on teams.
Song: -Fire Emblem(Melee)-
5.) Retro Showdown
Characters: Pit; Mr. Game & Watch; Ice Climbers; ROB
Character: Choose 1 of the 4
Stage: Flat Zone 2
Description: The oldies decide to hold a brawl to see which one has aged the least!
Objective: Defeat your opponents in a 1 Stock Match.
Song: -Flat Zone 2-
6.) Mario & Wario
Characters: Wario; Mario x3
Character: Wario
Stage: Delfino Plaza
Description: And I thought I wa shaving a bad day; Wario's got his work cut out for him.
Objective: Defeat the 3 Marios!(Each one has a 10% handicap)

Characters: Luigi; Olimar; Ness; Ganondorf
Character: Luigi
Stage: Luigi's Mansion
Description: It's not his fault that he's scared! Blame that dark wizard!
Objective: Luigi must not lay a finger on Ganondorf! Stay crouched while Olimar and Ness take care of Ganondorf!(You may crawl to avoid his attacks; If Ness and Olimar are KO'd, Luigi can attack at this point)(This is a 1 Stock Match)
