yea peercast is a p2p way to stream , the more people watch , the smoother the stream gets

is the stream supposed to run inside of winamp, or straight on firefox? i cant get it to run smooth, and it drops the video like every 15 seconds...

its supposed to run on winamp , if the stream isnt smooth that means not many people are watching

I watch my streams with WMP. I assume WMP is better off handling its own filetype, as that is what I've noticed when I watch streams.

check you got winamp as your default player and the latest version
also check if your ports 7144 and 7146 are opened if you have a router

you may also have to restart both winamp and peercast ,if the stream freeezes to much to have it run smoothly again (for a while..)
