Went to a local SoCal tournament and placed 2nd out of 22 people. Not bad for my first tournament, I guess. It was the Zero Gravity Trading Cards biweekly tourney.

A fine headset -- which I did need! The tournament was free and it took me 5 bucks to get there, so an all-around win. But having a commentator (you know, one of those sponsored esports guys who pretends it's all a soccer game) shout along then demand applause from the audience for Sm4sh Link was the real price :sadeyes:

9th out of 36. Ouch. I keep moving down. Solid Link, as always. My job is really interfering with my ability to do work; the rest of the state is getting better and I'm kinda stagnating at this point (might have a better job in a bit though :awesome:)

On the bright side I made 3rd of 15 in doubles with a guy I had never played on a team with before. We spent literally the whole tournament trying to decide what our best team was. I went solid Link as always Ganondorf for all but two matches this time around (Link in those other two matches), including our double Ganon team in the first round and a shield break-Warlock punch combo. Bwahaha!

Hey guys. Happy to post here. I got 2nd out of 72 at the first Wii U tournament my state held, was forced into hiatus, and came back to a scene way ahead of me. This past Tuesday, I got 5th out of 47 and feel like I'm FINALLY catching up. Name of the tournament was HTC Presents: Kame House. Challonge is here: http://challonge.com/Kamehouse1
