@ DarkDeity15 DarkDeity15 stay the **** out of the patch thread if you are not testing yourself you are just derailing and adding spam to the thread. Let the proper link mains do their work fffs.

FSK has a point. It's much more difficult for those of us that are testing patch changes when we have to sift through all the spam to find actual contributions.

I agree with FSK. Anybody who simply wants to comment on crap, use social. The patch thread is to test the changes and find out what was changed. If you're not actively doing that, then don't spam in it. It's already hard enough to keep track of all the info without having to also read spam like "OMG we got a kill setup, squeee".

He really does seem fun though. Both of them do. I hope Roy in particular is good, and I that there are some legit Roy combo videos soon for me to see.

Roy seems like he's a bit easy to gimp. Just need to watch out for his counter. Also, can he charge his recovery? I think I saw a Roy player charging his recovery or something. But it was probably his neutral special.

So, would anyone with Ryu DLC like to play with me? I want to talk about the MU, and the few Ryu's I've played on FG ain't going to cut it.

@ link7 link7 GGs :) The lag was kicking in and killing us I I quit.
Maybe I just suck at his play style but Roy seems bad. He's hard to combo from and has short range for a swordsman. His sweet spots are very strong but hard to land.
Lucas seems decent but I couldn't chain his moves like in Brawl. He could end up being a good character in the right hands.
Ryu was fun but has trouble approaching. He feels clunky and except for Fsmash has bad reach. His recovery is better than I assumed and in the hands of someone who knows how to combo he could be good.

Roy actually has a fairly decent combo game compared to the Marths. Take a look in the Roy boards.

Thanks for helping me out. Yea, Roy is weird, but I did play someone right after you left, and he spanked me with him. That lag at the end was pretty weird.
@ Zelkam Zelkam , didn't you once make a thread about our bombs destroying certain projectiles a while back? I had something I wanted to add to it, but I can't find it anywhere.

When you record it

EDIT: Cam and I had made it out of pools at ECT and fought in top 16 bracket.

I did use Link in pools and beat some Kirby player who looked like Bob Marley, no joke.

Unfortunately once I hit top 16 I had to face Vinnie (top Sheik from NY), Shippo (Sheik from NJ) and then MikeKirby so I didn't use Link for those...

That wasn't a thread it was a long post in the Metagame thread, you could dig it up. Foxy will update that thread some day when exams are over and you'll be able to find it easily then LOL
Also you played herr Cyner, i.e. Vonzar the Soulrender :cyclops:
