is there a way to do this only using one jump, i thought i saw one person do this on a video, but i don't know which one it is. It'd be really helpful since i've been on the ledge pressing back then jumping and throwing one, then having to press jump twice to get back on the ledge.

Yeah just press Jump + Side B at the same time, then you'll throw a waddle dee while jumping so you don't waste the jump.

Also...if you already have a waddle walking around you can jump and throw him simultaneously

He is asking about ledgehopped waddles...
No, there is no way to ledgehop waddles without having to recover, WDToss is too laggy.
If you really want to, you can time it so you grab the edge as lag ends, but you have to be above the stage to do this...
Not a good idea seeing how if you get hit on the way down, you are off the stage with no jumps left.
Dont worry though, DDD is comfortable in the air[below the edge], and you can be too!
*you should have bumped the existing thread for ledgehop WD toss, instead of making a new one..but i do not hate you ( :

Yeah, something i like to do now is press back on the ledge, then do a bair, and DI towards the stage, then do another jump waddletoss, and you will land on the ledge if you do it right, it's a really good way to get back on the stage, and probable the less laggiest and less use of jumps.
