Laser frequency in the ditto?

So I saw a tip from PPMD that you should dash dance between lasers versus fox to stay unpredictable and mitigate powershielding. A great tip, no doubt, and it helped me a lot. However, when I did a falco ditto with the same strategy, I felt like it always led to me losing laser control.

Should I constantly laser during the falco ditto? Are there other matchups where this is a good idea? Thanks

In my experience with falco dittos, whichever falco gets their lazers to hit first has the immediate advantage when both falcos are on the same level. However I think the falco above the other has an advantage. Try to avoid the still lazer wars by finding higher ground
