Smash Rookie
Hey KW Smashers, there is a local tournament coming up at McCabes Bar and Grill in downtown Kitchener on King street. It's hosted by the local used game store 'Games Exchange', for it's "Let's Play" game events.

ADVANCED TIER:
Entry fee: $5
Venue fee: ($0 say whattttt)
Time:
Signups: 12pm-12:30pm
Pools: ~12:30pm
Pools will be offset, allowing the first groupings to play, while the rest get food, and switching roles after the first set of pools are complete.
Prizing:
1st: $100 + 50% cash pot
2nd: 30% cash pot
3rd: 20% cash pot
Extra Advanced Details:
We are doing pools and double elimination. Everyone who signs up in the pools will make it into the bracket. Pools are simply used to seed the bracket properly. It may be different than what you are used to, but it makes it fun for everyone
BEGINNER TIER:
No Entry Fee
Please only enter if you truly are beginner. Be fair to new players.
Time:
Signups: 5:30pm
Tournament: 6pm
Prizing: $50 in Gift Certificates
Rules For Both Tiers:
Pools and first rounds will be 4 stock, 8 minutes, best 2 of 3.
Finals will be 4 stock, 8 minutes, best 3 out of 5.

- Yoshi's story
- Final Destination
- Battlefield
- Dreamland
- Fountain of dreams
Counter Picks
- Pokemon Stadium
Loser can switch character between rounds, winner must stay the same.
