Nope, you'd be better off shieldgrabbing, or utilting/bairing OoS... Kirby's usmash has a long startup time, as well as a lack of a decent horizontal range... And try the Kirby Q&A next time.

I kind of like it, but it's definitely for punishing laggier shielded hits when they're in KO %s.

But then, I'm a sucker for Usmash.

Honestly i think he does have hope, I very small glimmer but still hope nonetheless. MK and Marth are his biggest obstacles IMO.

MK, Marth, GW, ICs and snake are his biggest obstacles.

Kirby isn't viable 'as is'. If you completely understand the matchups and know all his moves and quirks it'll get you very very far...but Kirby alone won't do it. You need zoning, spacing, planking, edgegaurding, defense, offense. That goes without saying right? Well if you don't have excellent spacing, edgegaurding, etc. then Kirby won't win you a national tournament and even if you DO it'll be an uphill battle (not extremely steep).
