Kirby loses jumps when hit during horizontal air cutter

Like the title says, if Kirby is hit during his horizontal air cutter, he loses any jumps available to him. Not sure if this is an intended feature, but seeing as he keeps the jumps if he's not hit, seems like a disconnect.

As a side note, he also loses jumps on the vertical version, but this one is understandable.

Intentional. Gonna have to learn to not get hit.

????
this is because they always lose a jump with the side cutter, period

this is entirely intentional

His point is that it's weird that you can use Dash Cutter, not get hit, and still have jumps to go (albeit less jumps than you started with) ((if you had enough jumps remaining before doing it)). But if you do get hit out of it, you lose all your remaining jumps.
