The official statement is in Japanese. You can read it right here, or you can find a translation here:
It's the man who got 2nd place at his first international tournament, EVO 2016...Kameme has joined DetonatioN Gaming!
Kameme, formerly known as Kamemushi, saw his talent blossom in 2016, and immediately saw a slew of great results. Starting in the spring, he won KSB2016, multiple Umeburas and other tournaments in the Kansai region, and at his first international event took 2nd place out of 2637 at Evo 2016, as the highest placing Japanese player.
Kameme
The player who made a name for himself with his incredible Megaman play. His playstyle is contingent on his commitment to the hardest punish to secure victory. His natural feel for the game shines through when he pulls off a difficult footstool combo, or precisely KOs his opponent with a quick up-tilt.
*Kameme is currently not a full-time, salaried player.

The only other Smash 4 player sponsored by DtN is Nietono, who is a full-time, salaried player, according to their website. Nitetono was signed full-time in April, and went to CEO, Apex, and EVO, but hasn't gone to any international tournaments since then. As of the time of writing, he is not registered for The Big House 6.DetonatioNに加入することになりました!!
