Pretty hype week. Laz and Plasma, two Indiana natives, came in and did work in PM with their 2nd and 3rd place finishes. We debuted the EXP 9 Highlight Reel and it is confirmed that EXP 9 VODs will be up on the youtube channel this coming week. Yay! Special shoutouts to Plasma for doing goddamn WORK and Hindawg for his nice 3rd place showing in Melee. Also this week, Kels discovered that listening to music helps him play better. Lil Wayne in particular.

It is worth going. It's the best way to get better. You don't have to enter the tournaments, you can just pay the $5 venue fee and get hours of experience playing friendlies with other players of all skill levels.

67 unique entrants across both events! With summer now kicking into full swing, we may come to expect turnouts of this size as the norm. Metroid made his triumphant return to Chicago by stomping through winners bracket to Grand Finals. However, he couldn't find a solution to Lazarond, who earned his shot at the Charizard by taking out Scythe, the very man who knocked him into losers to begin with. Melee played out as you would expect, with Kels avenging last weeks loss to Trail through the winners bracket and into Grand Finals.

EXPosure 10 is this weekend, can't wait to see everyone

We had like 65ish unique entrants again, and I think this is the first time we've surpassed 50+ for PM on a Wednesday. Damn, that's a lot of people lmao. Kels and Metroid have a little rivalry going on, with Metroid getting the better of Kels consistently. Kels did take GF to a second set before losing in game 5, though, so he's getting closer and closer to beating that Charizard.

Cosmo showed up for melee and as a result our stream capped out around 310 viewers (from what I saw). He ended up getting 5th, barely losing to Scythe in a tight losers quarters match featuring Cosmo's Zelda. Shoutouts to Cosmo for coming out. ORLY is starting to bust his fox out in singles, too, but he needs to work on controlling his aggression- he could've taken a game off of Kels if he hadn't run off stage willy nilly on Dreamland.
