HYLIAN FIGHT CLUB 2015 - ONLINE SMASH 4 TOURNAMENT

Hello everyone! Team HCS will be hosting an online tournament for Super Smash Brothers for Wii U on June 30th. Details and sign ups are available below.

Rules:
  • 2 stocks, 6 minutes, no items
  • Sets are best out of three
  • No custom fighters
  • No Mii Fighters
  • Disputes of any kind call for immediate disqualification of BOTH players
  • Cheating in any form calls for immediate disqualification
Legal Stages:
  • Final Destination
  • Smashville
  • Castle Siege
  • Delfino Plaza
  • Duck Hunt
  • Halberd
  • Lylat Cruise
  • Town & City
  • Any omega form stages (These count as Final Destination)
Prizes:
  • 1st Place: 3x $50 E-Shop card codes
  • 2nd Place: 1x $50 E-Shop card code
E-Shop codes will be delivered to the winners via e-mail two weeks after the tournament.

Sign Up:

Streaming:

  • Anyone that private messages me in the IRC with their Nintendo Network ID and adds me back BEFORE 7:00PM has a chance of having their match recorded and streamed
  • All matches will be streamed and recorded in HD
  • Finals will be streamed
Tournament Procedure

In order for everyone to experience a fun, smooth moving tournament, the procedure will be as follows:
  • On June 30th at 6:00PM, checks in will take place.
  • Once checked in, join the IRC chat room using the instructions given
  • Check the Challonge bracket and find your opponent in the chat room and private message them (IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN ROUND 2 AND DO NOT HAVE AN OPPONENT, THIS IS DUE TO A BYE. PLEASE WAIT FOR A WINNER OF ROUND 1 TO ADVANCE TO YOU AND THEN DO THIS STEP)
  • Exchange Nintendo Network ID's with your opponent and start your matches
  • Report results of your matches on Challonge
  • If you're not eliminated, please proceed with your next match once you have another opponent
  • Have fun!

  • Tournament will not happen without at least 12 registrations (currently 6 registered)
  • Legal stages will be updated on 5/1
  • Information on a first place and second place prize will be posted on 5/1 (May be physical or digital)

I am going to wait a bit to see what happens. June 30th is a little to distant in the future for me, but I will definitely keep watch to see what develops.

I'd say adding Smashville as a starter and Lylat Cruise and/or Kongo Jungle 64 (this one's a bit more iffy) to counterpicks.

What time do you plan to start the tournament? You only have a date shown with the tournament. Count me in if its in the afternoon.

EDIT: Never mind, the challonge bracket displays a time frame.

The tournament time is now tomorrow at 7:00PM EST. Eshop codes will be delivered via email two weeks after this tournament. Sign ins are open at 6PM tomorrow.
