Yoshi, DK, Jigglypuff, Ness, Link, Luigi, Samus

Starter stage: Dream Land
Counterpick stages: Peach's Castle, Kongo Jungle, Hyrule Castle

Apex 2014 rules apply otherwise. 5 stock, no items, no dark characters on kongo, etc etc


--Melee Ruleset--

Legal Characters:
Young Link, Link, DK, Yoshi, Zelda, Roy, Mewtwo, G&W, Ness, Bowser, Pichu, Kirby

Starter stages: Final Destination, Battlefield, Fountain of Dreams, Dream Land 64, Yoshi's
Counterpick stage: Pokemon Stadium

Apex 2014 rules apply otherwise. 4 stock, 8 mins, no items, etc etc



--Brawl Ruleset--

Mario, Bowser, Samus, Captain Falcon, Link, Jigglypuff, Zelda, Ganon

Starter stages: Final Destination, Battlefield, Smashville, Lylat Cruise, Yoshi's Island, Castle Siege, Pokemon Stadium 1
Counterpicks: Halberd, Delfino Plaza, Brinstar, Rainbow Cruise, Frigate Orpheon, Pokemon Stadium 2

Gentleman's Rule is in effect for all games: a match may happen on an illegal stage if both players agree to it.

Extra clarification: Zelda may not transform into Sheik. If someone breaks this rule by accident and does not deal any damage, they can change back immediately, but doing this repeatedly will be considered stalling and is grounds for forfeiting the game. If the player deals damage as Sheik, their opponent may request that they forfeit a stock.

Schedule:
12pm doors open
1:30 Melee registration closes
2:00 Brawl registration closes. Melee begins
3:00 64 registration closes. Brawl begins. Some melee setups will be swapped out for brawl setups
4:00 64 begins. Some melee and brawl setups will be swapped for 64 setups
10:00 Tournament ends. Come out to the restaurant/bar next door to chill cause its my birthday and I love smash players

I plan on rotating between Melee, 64, and Brawl on the stream.

We are staggering event start times so please make sure you arrive on time.
-BRING GAMES AND WIIS! (Wiis preferred to gamecube for setup swapping purposes). If you think to yourself "oh they're probably fine for setups by now" WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT FINE FOR SETUPS BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS THINKING THE SAME THING
-YBOMBB, the currently undisputed Smash 64 champ in Ontario, is not entering the 64 bracket. He will however be facing the winner of the 64 bracket in an exhibition match on stream!
-Brawl players: Unity stagelist is back! 13 whole stages for you guys. Don't even worry about MK on Rainbow Cruise.
-Please do not Gentleman's Rule any banned characters. Those matches will not count.
-Enzo Ibarra, feel free to bring your recording setup. Melee players, please play on this setup whenever possible, you guys are getting a ton of VODs
-It's my birthday so let's chill after the tournament
