There will be a $10 entry fee, $5 if not entering the tournament
(to cover an upstairs private venue as well as catering costs and fund a kitty for the next event)

RULES:
-Tournament will be held in Double Elimination fashion
-No custom moves
-Miis are allowed, but only if you use custom moves 1,1,1,1 with the guest A Mii
-BYO controllers
-Matches will be best of 3
(Grand Final is best of 5)
-2 stock
-6 minute time limit
-No items
-If players cant decide on character choices they will each tell a third party their choice and have to go with that choice.
-Stage striking will decide first stage (Each person chooses a stage they don't want to play from the starter list and you play on the stage remaining)
-If you're absent from a match 2 minutes after you've been called you will lose the first match, 5 minutes and you will lose the set and be disqualified
-Pausing for no good reason will result in a stock loss
-Stalling matches will result in a warning and then disqualification
-Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated (name calling or other abusive behavior)
-Rules subject to change at any time before the tournament commences
HOW SETS WORK:
1: Select characters
2: Stage strike first stage
3: Play match
4: Winning player bans 2 stages
5: Loser picks stage
6: Winner can change character
7: Loser can change character
8: Next match is played
9: Repeat steps 4-8 for next matches

This is a catered event with nibbles (pizza, pastries, etc) provided. There will be a "for fun" TV for free for alls while waiting for matches and possibly a street fighter 4 side tournament.
