Well guys and gals, it seems that this thread will face doomsday on a few days.
Hovewer im consdering to do an Isaac Thread on oni333's semi-social all character support boards (assuming
N3ON
doesn't do it, even though she is most likely going to do it anyway).
Look at the bright side my firends, this means that i can post all the comics again in said thread and it also means that RTC is going to die. (does that make you happy right?).
Anyway, i just came here to say that i will miss this thread and i hope to see you all on Oni333's character semi-social.

Well, I've never really been able to get into the social forums, sadly.
Here's to hoping that we finally get Isaac in. Although there's still six days left until the close of this forum so I don't feel like I should have to post with such finality yet. =P (Although I also don't understand why they're closing it before the ballot winners are announced? I understand we're all running around in circles over here, not too much new to add, but still.)

Let us know when you do so. And try to do it before everything goes down. We'll need a good solid link to know where to go. That forum is going to be a madhouse for a few days as every Tom, Bob and Harry recreates their <random 3rd party character> Support Thread. It'll be a few days before the regulars (like Isaac, King K. Rool etc.) are fully established in their rightful places on the first page.

man even gamnesia is saying isaac is unlikely for smash even in the fighter ballot. i'm getting sick of these detractors...

Well, he's right. I can't really see Isaac being playable character as well. Our supports might be in minority.
Honestly, a lot of the so called "favorites" are in the same case. At least the Golden Sun community was capable of focusing on only one character for the most part. Now there's the whole possible thing that they'll count suggestions for characters of the same series together (like Dixie + K. Rool or Wolf + Krystal), but I don't know, I'm not convinced they'll actually do that.
For a lot of reasons I think they'll keep the Inklings for Smash 5 and if I'm true, there's no other completely unrepresented Nintendo series that could get a rep before Golden Sun. So if they really wanted to represent another Nintendo series in Smash, Isaac would be the only way to go.
That being said, yes, it's a lot of "if", but Isaac's not the only popular character with a lot of "if" 's to make it less likely.
I feel like we're still wrongly underestimated as a community.

I disagree honestly, I think Isaac is very likely. Not a guarantee at all of course, but he's easily one of the more likely candidates at this point.

It's been lovely. I know I'm not too common of a poster on here, but I've been an Isaac supporter since before brawl was even announced and plan to continue to support him in the future.
This is legitimately one of the only threads I would ever post on so I guess it's time for me, at least for the time being, to lurk back into shadow.
When the new thread gets started up, if it does, I plan on being a more prominent poster.

Yeah, he's certainly in the running but of course there's a number of characters you could say that about.
If Sakurai wanted I really think a character like Isaac would be like putty in his hands, since Isaac has such a diverse move pool to draw from.

Thank you guys for all the enjoyable times and fun speculation. I'm not sure whether I'll be active in the new Social Group or not. It'll depend how things play out. But I'll be back here should Isaac get revealed, and I'm still supporting him all the way.

As someone who was around when these character threads opened, and moderated them for over a year, I'm well aware of how manic it can get.
Depends how many ballot characters we end up getting. If it's only one or two I'd be inclined to agree with them. :/

I think I'll prefer the jump to the Group Forums. We'll have more freedom to talk about other stuff. It's been kinda hard to talk about a character from a series that's been dormant for 5 plus years now, and was dormant for 7-8 before that.
But we've managed pretty well. Still, a little more freedom will do us good I think.
