Before the latest update I wanted Lloyd Irving, but now because of the Mii Skin I know he probably won't make it, so now I want Isaac. He seems like he could be a good character and really I want anyone but Shantae. I played her games and her character just doesn't fit my interests, plus she his over hyped and I'm sick of her.

I really feel you about the Shantae stuff. I just don't understand the point of making fake rumors if it's not even going to help a character's chance of getting in. (Also it gets really annoying) Isaac hasn't really had many rumors about him and he still stays a top contender for the Ballot, so I don't think his reputation is that bad. I'm not saying Shantae is a bad choice, but I just get irritated because if she really were getting revealed, Nintendo AND WayForward would just keep their mouth shut about the whole thing until the time actually comes, so I just feel the fan base it taking the ballot the wrong way.
Yes, I really like the way you said that. I mean I don't think half the people who want her in have played her game. I have played the original on the Gameboy with the old flat cartridge and I didn't like it that much. I was on YouTube and someone said they didn't like Shantae and this one person went CRAZY. They went of listing like 20 different things for the move set and replied to the same comment like 10 times in a row. At that point I was sitting there like NO WAY I WILL SUPPORT THIS CHARACTER. But seeing the support she is getting makes me think she is probably at around if not at the top.

I think Shantae has some decent support, but I don't think it tops the likes of Wolf, Isaac, Inkling or King K. Rool. Those four are pretty much the top of the top.

I think Shovel Knight's amiibo doesn't give him a better chance to be in Smash, neither does it harm Isaac's chance of getting in. I see Shovel Knight amiibo as a way to promote the Plague of the Shadows expansion (although it's free). I do believe that this also means that Yacht Club Games probably wants to work on future titles with Nintendo.
I've played Shovel Knight and it's a really fun game, but I don't feel that Shovel Knight deserves to be in Smash (at least for now).

A bit late on that - the Shovel Knight amiibo was officially announced last night, and so far, the only games it's said to be compatible with are Shovel Knight (providing co-op for the Wii U, and challenge mode and customization options for both systems) and future Yacht Club games. It has nothing to do with Smash Bros.

Nintendo has the chance of a lifetime to add more characters, and so far, they have only fulfilled part of that agreement to add DLC characters. No offense Nintendo, but I would like to see some more characters added, and make the the good ones! I support #TeamIssac, and I would like to see similar characters make the list as well. Good luck to Issac!

Shovel Knight hasn't been 100% confirmed for Smash and even if he does make it in it's not like he'll be the last DLC character so let's stay calm.

Well said. In a matter of fact, shovel knight isn't even a DLC character as of now because the ballot still hasn't ended. We still need the results from the ballot before making assumptions and we won't know what characters are actually DLC till the Ballot is finished!

We can't call him a one hit wonder because we don't know if he'll be successful down the line yet, to be a one hit wonder you have to then have no more hits after and we just don't know that yet...
Still, Isaac should definitely happen in Smash first, and then we can get GS4 with the Isaac amiibo on the same day?

I think that a Shovel Knight Amibo is great, Yatch club games is a new company and is doing really well, having his "master piece" represented in all the platforms and giving a free DLC. I don't think this game is a "One Hit Wonder", Is more like a "new wonder", just like Golden Sun in it's time (it's a shame that Camelot is just making Mario Tenis now...). Even more, having an Amiibo is like getting them to do more content for Nintendo... something like the deal with Ubisoft for Rayman (but hoping that they don't screw it up)
If we get Shovel Knight in Smash it would be nice, even if he is new. and that doesn't really harm Isaac, his chances depend on us to vote for him and on Camelot... they should work in a new game that give him more relevance (and a better game than the thrid one...)

I have the same feelings around both Shovel Knight and Shantae: expecting a trophy and a costume at best. Ironically I support Quote from Cave Story, but as long as they release a Pokémon Trainer costume (read: Ash Hat) I can suffice with a Mii Gunner.

Garet (stupid autocorrect) was having trouble leaving his stuff behind during the beginning of the game. In this comic, he takes it with him, but still has trouble keeping it together, so he drops an item off the bridge, hitting Felix in the head while he's holding on for dear life in the river.
