Is the chain olimar's worst enemy?

I don't have the game, but can sheik's chain being used noobishly prevent all of olimar's pikmin throws and ways of approaching?

He can jump over you. The chain is crap for any form of offense. It's recovery range is below average and vanish would be a better alternative everytime. It only tethers because noobs kept suiciding with it.

Well one clear advantage the chain does have over vanish is that you recover faster after activation.

Other then that though it is pretty useless beside maybe stopping enemies approach like Ike side B.

If you are playing against an equally noobish Olimar, maybe.

I like using the chain to recover sometimes... it's nice to keep the opponent guessing which move you're going to use.

Another use for the tether is to prevent some edgeguarding. If you tether then you arent right there and an edgeguarder cant edguard as effectively.

The Chain is Trash it's only good use is to get back to stage.

Anytime i used the chain to see if it got better, on HIT it seems like my opponent got free hits or free throw or something. Trash move, but I like using it to recover.

is the chain really that bad? ive been able to interupt more than a few recoveries with it which caused them to plummit to thier demise. And i like to rotate the controll stick extreamly fast while i do it so it seems really effective.

Yeah, I'd use the chain to get back on the stage, maybe once in a while as a surprise attack, that's about it. You guys are forgetting that Olimar could fsmash you out of the chain, or just get out of the way and laugh at you.
