Hoping K Rool is at least in. Sakurai is an idiot if he doesn't put him in. he's been like the second most requested since Melee.

Third most requested character was Sonic, we got him.

Smash 4's most requested character was Megaman, we got him.
Second most requested character was Ridley, no show.

Yeah, you're right. The more I think about it, Sakurai is intent on trying to represent as many franchises as he can for this game.

I seriously doubt K. Rool is playable, and Ridley...well, I think I've given up on him.

The only significant Nintendo villains I can think of are Ridley and K. Rool. No one else comes even close.

With Wolf, Ganondorf, Wario, and Mewtwo coming back, plus Ridley and K. Rool, that gives every one of the "core" franchises a villain character. (I don't count Kid Icarus among those, and I highly doubt we'll get a third Kid Icarus character.) And yes I still do expect Mewtwo and Ridley, with K. Rool on edge. Wolf, Ganondorf, and Wario are definitely going to be back.

Hades, he's technically the main antagonist of all three KI games, we just didn't know.

To this day, he's the closest thing there is to a villainous Pokémon in the games. His Y dex entry reads, "It's said to have the most savage heart among Pokémon."
