INKSports - eSports: Part One Feat. SmashCapps!

Amazing things can happen when the world of traditional sports collides with Smash. WOZO, a radio station in Knoxville, Tennessee, recently started a series on its Sports program INKSports to discuss eSports and, as part of its first segment, invited Smashboard's own SmashCapps to discuss competitive Smash and how eSports compare to traditional sports.

Here is a synopsis of the broadcast from the InkSports website: "To celebrate National Signing Day, and the Super Bowl the guys talk about the only obvious thing there is to talk about. Video Games. The phenomenon of eSports is examined in depth. The guys talk about their history with video games, and the history of competitive gaming. The arenas are talked about, the payouts are talked about, and the great debate of “is it sport?” is talked about. To close out the show, the guys bring on Erik SmashCapps, who is a writer and blogger and advocate of Smash Bros competition."

Great to see that the world of esports is in the spotlight! Honestly, if they could get a regular telecast for any eSport, LoL or Smash, that would be a dream come true for me
