For what it's worth (probably not a lot ), I'm rooting for Inkling in spirit....even though I put my vote towards Isaac.

In a way it kind of feels like it's become kind of "with us or against us" since you can only vote for one character. It sucks. :/

As DLC, it's hard to evaluate a character chances. I personally believe in the Inklings chances, considering how Nintendo seems to love them.

I mean, having 3 amiibos of brand new characters, they must trust a lot their squids. With their originality and their kid-friendly guns, I believe that Sakurai can find them interesting.

Also, the direct proved that all of Splatoon musics so far are great.

You are right, it is hard to evaluate characters chances. For once, I wasn't expecting Lucas to come back, but there he is. Nintendo does seem to be pushing Splatoon to be their next big game, but maybe the Inklings' time to shine in Smash won't come until the next game. Obviously, I hope that is not the case.

And yeah, Splatoon music is amazing. It reminds me of Jet Set Radio and music from old SEGA games in general

If I believe that inklings can become DLC, it's mainly because of the Yoshi Wooly World stage. It is a clear proof that we can have content from upcoming games.

I would also mention Skull Kid and the Oni Link because of Majora's Mask 3D, but it's a remake.

Yeah they seem to really love Splatoon (This has been like what? the 20th work they have posted featuring the inklings? Also really soon to the reveal of the game/new costumes.) It's a silly and cute anime.

I wish they get the little mac treatment, and have like 7 for the girls and 7 for the boys. And then throw in the Octoling as an alt, but only in it's original color.

Like, what they could do is base the 7 alts off of ROYGBIV. ROYGBIV for the girls and ROYGBIV for the boys.

Thats only a personal hope though. It's more likely we will get just 8.

The anxiety is almost too great for me. Knowing if I'm not right on top of it, I lose my chance forever makes me mad, sad, and just stressed out.

Depends. what you mean. Though, I wouldn't risk it either way.

All the pre-orders are gone for best buy, but there is a chance they might make so if you show up on the day of it's release you could get one.

I myself am watching the amazon page for the amiibo set like a hawk. I even have an auto refresher.

There probably isn't going to be a decent supply of them to answer the overall question.

You know, with 8-Player Smash, 4-on-4 Inkling battles could be had, just like in Splatoon itself. Maybe their hair and ink color could change to that of the team's, using pink or orange for red.

Well, I'm going to have to wish you luck on getting them. So far, the NA amiibos have been treated awfully. I've been stalking the amazon page for the set because I find it a real possibility that once the pre-orders are gone, I may never be able to get one again unless I pay a huge price on ebay.

Now yes, it could be commom, but I honestly can't take that chance. If you live outside NA, you probably don't have to worry too much.

But man do I love how the amiibos look. Especially Inkling girl. I've also become more and more attached to Inkling Squid as I stalk the amiibo page.

Theres apparently multiple things you unlock through the amiibo missions. If the school girl uniform is any indication, I hope for more cute outfits. <3
