Nicely done vs the Sonic player, i usually struggle a little with that matchup myself. I'm guessing it was Lee Martin who counterpicked Brinstar, i do not like that place one bit and that match showed. Every time i watch you play for some reason i can't quite seem to get over how different we play...

Vex's mindgames late in the second vid verse the Lee Martin (Ike) were nuts. Wasn't much you could do on Brinstar, lol. Ike's UpB seems like it was meant to be used there.

OH! Something important to point out for future reference. Everyone, take note, ban Brinstar verse Ike on the very off chance you face one in a tourny.
Here's me VS a Marth, I had a hard time picking a video from our set because all of our games were disappointing. I feel I should definitely have won against him, but like I said in another thread I do tons of accidental inputs and have relatively slow reaction times, so I'll always feel like I could have done better:

Me vs a G&W, here I had no problem choosing a video because only one of the games was saved. The problem is that it's the last game in a set where the G&W crushed me, so he probably isn't playing as well as he could in this game, hence why the outcome is closer:

I find that bowser bomb out of shield is much more useful than an aerial one.

Anything that lets you ledge cancel it to get back on the ground quickly isn't a bad move. Its applications in actual play are situational though yes. Pretty much limited to punishing and surprising someone out of shield.

Yesz. :> I got bored so I decided to use Bowser in doubles. The first match which magically got kidnapped due to Nintendo (Flayl didn't get the replay therefore it isn't there) went pretty smoothly. Then Jon decided to be an idiot and use Bowser when he doesn't know how to use him <_<
Why does everyone do that to me in doubles matches :/ everytime I go Bowser my partner feels the need to do the same. Anyway, feel free to critique my awkward doubles strategy lol.

Wow, I'm mad you actually said Bowser needs more FSmash and DSmash of all things...I don't think FSmash or DSmash should be a marginally big part of any good Bowser's moves unless you're either
a] Sandbagging
b] Noticing that your opponent airdodges/rolls a lot

To be honest, I really do not like the way how the format of our video thread is set up. The only thing that really annoys me is the fact that it only displays the bowser mainer's tag and just the opposing character's name. There is no way to tell who the bowser mainer is facing. If it's under the pikachu section then naturally the video should include pikachu in the bout. The main point I am trying to make is that it should be a requirement to include the non-bowser mainer's tag, if it can be helped.
Oh yeah, I guess one could look at the title of the video on The YouTube page but that would make my whole point pallid.

I thought dsmash one of Bowser's worst moves because of the small hitbox, and surely there's no way he should be using fmash more, you're never gonna hit with that unless punishing a dodge or some guaranteed set up I'm unaware of.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a Bowser main but I thought what I said would just be common logic.

U are completely right for tye most part. Dsmash is a different animal than fsmash. Unlike fsmash, dsmash is actually a pretty nifty move. In the right situations dsmash can make a huge difference. Dsmash requires higher level prediction for it to work. Rolls airdodges and using it on the edge would be the most effective ways of using it. Another risky way of using it would be where the opponent lands. The risk is that they could prolly knock u out of it but most of the time they wont. Just observe habits the first stock then apply what u have learned from your opponent

I think Fsmash is a better move then Dsmash. You can DI out of Dsmash before taking the final hit which gives you knockback, while Fsmash is really disjointed and hard to punish if done correctly.

Yeah u right about dsmash but fsmash can be easy to punish if they power shield which i hate. It might be too easy to power shield in this game

D smash isn't as easy to DI out of as Pikachus, due to the lower amount of frozen hit frames to SDI during. I've only had people DI out of the dsmash 3 times in tournament.
D smash is good for roll and air dodge prediction, does good damage, and has good knockback.
I wish it was bigger though... =/

Man. Even when I played this game all the time, I am trash compared to Ixisnaugus, lol. Besides the power shielding, trying to get in the habit of angling your shield, too. You get alot more mileage out of it.
