I want to change WHICH textures are selected as a result of choosing a certain TEAM.

Many characters use their default texture as one of their team textures. I want to make it so that for every character, the textures appear in this order: default, red, blue, green, others. Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.

Here's an example to clarify: As Luigi, I want the 4th texture slot to be selected as a result of choosing green team. Replacing the texture in the 4th texture slot with a green coloured texture won't do because the texture in the 1st texture slot will still be selected as a result of choosing green team.

No. He means something like, Mario's 00 costume is always what it picked for a team color when he's on the Red Team. I would really like to know this as well, actually.

For most characters, the costume order is default, red, green, blue. For some characters like mario and luigi, the default texture is also a team texture. I would like for the costume order for every character to be default, red, blue, green etc.

This info is probably somewhere in the Fit[Character].pac's or ft_[character]rel's.

By posting that list, I'm sure that he/she was suggesting that you simply rename/switch the textures around so that they match the numbers/colours.

Ex. You have a green texture that you want to be on green, but it's on red which would be falcon01, simply replace or switch the texture with falcon02's texture. It's a lot easier than altering the codes for what textures show up.

Exactly if you want to use regular diddykong colors for your texture use FitDiddy00 for the pac and pcs name or if you want Green diddykong colors for you texture use FitDiddy01 as the pac and pcs name and ect.

You guys are really missing the point. If you read my posts it should be perfectly clear what I want to accomplish here. It has nothing to do with the textures themselves. I want to change the TEAM TEXTURE ORDER. If I did what you're describing, red team's Lucas would be dressed in blue since his third slot is used for red team.

For some characters there isn't a color for every team(without codes). For example Dedede doesn't have a red color number so his default is red to make up for it. So like i said before the only way to split it is with codes which you will have to search for. Also sorry if I still don't understand what you mean.

I get what he's trying to say, and frankly, I'd like to see it too. Let me explain it for the lot of you who apparently don't get the point: when you select team battle, Brawl loads specific costumes for specific team colors. What AMK wants to do is find out how Brawl does that, and then figure out how to change it so the game loads different costumes than normal for specific team colors.

I'd like to see it, if only to make Peach's default dress her red team outfit like how it was in Melee; was it really necessary to make a scarlet dress for her? I'm not complaining, since it gives us a spare costume after we do this, but still... what was Sakurai thinking?

Ok, I looked into this yesterday using the csp -> color offsets on Dant's website. I can easily change what color a person loads based on their csp, but there doesn't seem to be anything saying what color is used on teams. I thought I may have found it, but doing team battle and selecting my edited character colors froze. I'll look into this more, later. Hopefully there is an actual 'list' in brawl of the colors to use for teams nearby. :p I managed to swap red peach with orig peach so that red is now also orig, like in melée. But as stated before, it affects nonteam matches as well.

Aww you got my hopes up. Again, if I understand correctly, you select red peach from the CSS and pink peach loads when you play? If that's what you mean, that's not quite what I want. You could accomplish the same thing with texture replacement.

I'm hoping that I'm misunderstanding what you're saying and you've actually done this: Select red TEAM, pink peach shows up in the CSS. HOPING.

Okay, here's what my post said. I'll break it down for you.

Not doing teams
Red peach loads original color peach

When doing teams
Red peach loads original color peach

So in both times, it still loads original color peach from the red csp. I have yet to find anything that controls which colors are to be used in teams.
