I took a day off because I had food poisoning, I had literally spent the entire day on the couch. I forgot to call into work to tell them I wasn't coming in. The next day I called and said Hey, i'm sorry for not calling and now they're making a huge deal out of it. I just got off the phone with the general manager and she said she if I want to keep working I need to sit down and talk with her and D'arcy(another manager) because appereantly they think I have a problem with her.

I don't like being babied or treated like i'm a kid so I don't know what i'm going to do yet. They already said they had replaced me so whatever, it was just BK after all right?

I have no respect for companies that do that to an employee for not calling 1 time.

Some suggestions if you're looking for a job.
Look for big companies that will usually take care of thier employees(Healt benefits, etc..).
Such places are ones like Darden and Disney...

I've been with Darden for over three years and my GM lets me take off whatever I want(as long as I don't abuse that right ), which allows me to have time for school, games, and working on my car(which I end up doing alot ).

Just my 2 cents.
