An Orlando Melee and Brawl and P:M Tournament.

Drake is a pretty cool guy, and smash is a pretty cool game. It was only a matter of time.
This tournament will take place on the 14th of July, at my house!

I’ve instituted a five dollar door fee UNLESS a FULL SETUP (TV + Console) is brought. One setup per person rule applies.
Brawl and Melee Doubles will be $5 a person.
Brawl and Melee Singles will be $5 a person.
Melee Singles will be using the Swiss Format. In case you are unfamiliar with such a format, Swiss guarantees players five tournament sets. If you do well in those five sets, you will make it to a final, round-robin bracket.
Brawl Singles will most likely be straight-to-bracket (GDX and Kyon will decide this).
Schedule:
The doors to my house will open Friday Night for a Smashfest, if anyone is interested.
Registration opens at 12 PM and ends for each respective event when they begin.
Brawl and Melee Doubles will begin NO LATER than 1:00 PM.
Lunch Break will happen following doubles.
Melee and Brawl Singles will begin at 4:00 PM, unless noted otherwise.
After Dinner:
Following tradition, I hope that all of us can go to Denny’s afterwards to chill and talk about the tournament or just random bull**** because it’s cool to do so. The Denny’s is not even 10 minutes away from my place. The restaurant is also subject to change.

To be determined, but honestly I’m pushing for Project: M as usual. Poker is also becoming a big thing with me and my closer friends, and I’d be more than happy to set up a game.

Stages not listed on the random select list that are not banned are open for counter picks by the losing player.
Stages banned for Doubles Only: Fountain of Dreams
Stages banned for Singles & Doubles: Yoshi’s Island (Pipes), Fourside, Hyrule Temple, Flatzone, Brinstar Depths, Icicle Mountain, Big Blue, Mushroom Kingdom 1, Venom, Yoshi's Island 64, Peach’s Castle, Green Greens, Mute City, Corneria, Poke Floats, Kongo Jungle, Onett, and Great Bay.
No stage may be used twice in a Best of 3 or Best of 5 Series unless agree upon by both players.
Loser of each match may choose the stage for the next game. Winner may then choose characters but must also allow the Loser to change characters afterwards.
Stage striking is recommended.
(Banned stages may be changed before the tournament, Discuss if you disagree with current format.)
