How to disable the Home button in SSB4

Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but I think it's worth sharing. Many TOs ban wireless controllers to prevent abuse and interference. EVO in particular is usually very restrictive about controllers due to this botched grand finals match from 2008, in which a 3rd player paused the game in the final round. Nobody wants to lose a high-stakes match to this kind of nonsense.

It turns out, though, that there's a simple way to disable the Home button for every controller in Smash 4:

I think it's worth considering and sharing with anyone who's leery about wireless controllers.

Certainly worth considering. Though for some reason I was pretty sure from repeated attempts that the home button simply didn't work during a match.

I just had a "duh" moment and realized that the Power button would still be functional, though. :/

Oh well. Still decent info IMO but it probably wouldn't convince a strict TO.
