how can i play against a ZSS computer?

the title says everything. is there a way to play vs a ZSS computer? the only ways i could think of are in the training mode or by letting her grab a smash ball, but that gets kinda tiring after some time...
sorry if this has been posted before - i used the search function but didn't find anything.

you need 2 controllers

pick your character, and then use the other to pick the computer and hold Z like you normally would to use ZSS

You don't hold Z, you hold shield, unless Z happens to be your shield button.

good point, hold shield, which is not always Z. I'm still not used to the multiple control schemes
