I think we should begin analyzing stages for smash 4. Obviously all FD mode stages will be allowed and should be considered one stage for purposes of counter picks. Like, you can't win on Mario Land FD stage and CP to Megaman FD stage for example.

Is there a way to keep stages the same minus the hazards? Like Wiley's Castle just without the yellow devil & with the platforms or does it have to be flat FD?

It will be flat FD. If it has platforms, it isn't FD.

So are we letting stages with hazards legal? For example, the yellow devil seems auto banned since it's such a great and annoying hazard. But places like the changing mario land stage, I think only the falling icicles are the only hazards and don't seem that much a bothering thing.

If the hazards have obvious tells, like Halberd, then they should be allowed as CPs. It's the random ones that will cause a stage to be banned.

Stage with bosses will probably end up being banned.
