I agree with the Orange being **** too, I just think the Red is the best. It's very inexpensive to build on and earns a lot of money when landed on. My goal is always the Orange and Red, but sadly it's very hard to get my hands on both, but either way I try to get a Monopoly in one or the otherRedOrange, P4.
They are statistically the most landed on spots (because of Jail). There's a reason that Illinois Ave. is so valuable in competitive Monopoly.
It's a powerful piece of property. Above that, Orange (as well as all other late section properties) have the same prices to build houses as the Pink properties, yet the rent is much higher. Orange is probably the most devastating because, again, the relationship to jail.
Nothing says "get *****" like landing on the oranges straight from jail when the building phase has already begun.
I love watching competitive Monopoly. It's intense.
